In 2025, the Al Larvick Conservation Fund (ALCF) proudly celebrates 10 years of preserving home movies and personal media collections — the everyday films that tell the extraordinary story of who we are.

For a decade, ALCF has provided micro-grants that help individuals, families, and small organizations digitize and safeguard recordings originally captured on analog or obsolete formats. As the only grant program dedicated exclusively to preserving home movies and personal recordings, ALCF protects the spirit, memory, and cultural fabric of everyday life — often the only moving images that document these communities and family traditions.

Our 10th-anniversary campaign, Preserve Our Stories, invites you to help fund the next round of ALCF micro-grants and support our anniversary exhibition series, In Another Light, which brings a decade of preserved motion pictures to audiences across the country. Together, these programs ensure that stories continue to be seen and shared.

Each contribution — no matter the size or frequency — makes a direct impact.
