Amphi Liberation Mutual Aid has a small, but mighty team of volunteers who purchase, prepare, and serve the highest-quality of food we can provide for individuals and families who continue to be deeply affected by the housing and food insecurity crisis, in and around the Amphi neighborhood in Tucson, AZ. Our distribution serves over 500 individuals, monthly, and while we are occasionally supported through community donations of shelf-stable goods, the majority cost of these meals are coming out of the pockets of volunteers who cook them.

The ALMA Food Fund 2026 Objectives

Broaden capacity for our cooks by providing funds to purchase a larger inventory of grocery items like produce and grains, and create a consistent and cost-effective monthly menu from September 2026 through August 2027
- Menu of Meals to include:
  - Rice and Beans with a side of Roasted Veggies
  - Pork Adobo with Rice
  - Chicken and White Bean Stew
  - Spaghetti and Meat Balls
  - Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches
Increasing our budget for the purchasing of serving materials, such as plates, utensils, and cups.
