Across Ukraine, shelters, rescuers, and volunteers continue caring for dogs and cats that depend on them every single day.

Our next mission is simple: fill a semi-truck with dog and cat food and get it to a warehouse in Ukraine where it can be distributed to animals in need.

But there is another important part of this campaign.

The food will be purchased in Ukraine and manufactured by Ukrainian pet food companies.

That means every donation does more than feed an animal. It also puts money directly back into Ukraine’s economy, supports Ukrainian businesses and workers, and eliminates the unnecessary expense of shipping an entire truckload of pet food from overseas.

Our fundraising goal will be updated once we finalize pricing with Ukrainian manufacturers and determine exactly how much food we can load into the truck.

Spirit of Ukraine is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit delivering direct, life-saving aid to the people of Ukraine. Our mission is simple: meet urgent needs with compassion, precision, and integrity, whether on the front lines or at home.

What We Do

We operate several targeted programs to ensure no one is left behind:

Comfort Kits Program: We provide hygiene kits, warm clothing, and morale boosters to soldiers, displaced families, and frontline medics. Each kit is carefully assembled with care and dignity in mind.
Technical Aid: From power stations and Starlink terminals to tools and connectivity gear, we help frontline units stay powered, informed, and safe.
Winter Gear Drive: Our seasonal initiative delivers thermal socks, base layers, generators, and heat sources to soldiers and civilians facing brutal cold.
Orphan and Children’s Support: In partnership with Ukrainian NGOs, we supply orphans and war-affected children with school supplies, clothing, and handmade gifts—reminders that they’re not forgotten.
Local Community Outreach (USA): We also support underserved communities in Colorado and beyond with OTC medications, safety tools like drink test kits, and volunteer-led programs.
