Downhome Americana: Broadway on the Farm

There’s something special about an autumn evening on the farm—the crisp air, the smell of a fire, kids playing games in the grass, neighbors sharing food and laughter, and music drifting through the air as the sun begins to set.

This October, American Opera Studio is heading to the farm, and you're invited to join us!

Downhome Americana is a family-friendly fair and live performance celebrating community, music, and a little old-fashioned fun—all on a real farm.

Before the music begins, come enjoy an evening of activities for the whole family. We’ll fire up the weenie roast, take a turn around the cake walk, snap some memories at our photo booths, play games, and enjoy a few more surprises along the way.

Then, as the evening settles over the farm, find a hay bale, get comfortable, and enjoy the show.

Our performers will take you on a musical journey through the sounds and stories of Americana, featuring Old Country Favorites and Golden Age Musicals.

It’s a little country. A little Broadway. A little nostalgia.

And a whole lot of fun.

Music Belongs Everywhere

At American Opera Studio, we believe great music doesn't have to live behind velvet ropes or inside a traditional concert hall.

Sometimes, it belongs under an open sky.

Sometimes, the best seat in the house is a hay bale.

And sometimes, experiencing live music should be as simple as gathering together with your family, sharing some food, laughing with your neighbors, and listening as familiar melodies float across the farm.
