JCPS has agreed to upgrade Veterans Memorial Stadium field at Louisville Male High School this summer to a multi-sport, premier athletic turf surface to serve multiple sports and events throughout the school year. But there are additional, necessary renovations and upgrades which are not included that we feel now is the time to make it happen. A few of these improvements, repairs and necessities are listed here.

Veterans Memorial Stadium has been a local iconic venue for many sports competitions and events since it's establishment in 1991 when Louisville Male High School moved from its third location downtown at Brook & Breck to the previously named Durrett Campus on Preston Highway. It is the proud venue to the Johnny Conn Invitational and Louisville Meet of Champions (Track & Field) . And home to the 15-time KHSAA Football State Champions, 38-time Track & Field State Champions and who can forget The Old Rivalry or Battle of the Barrel - Louisville Male vs. duPont Manual 143rd football game rivalry started in 1893.

We need your help to get this done. We have launched this fundraising campaign to do it right and do it now. Construction has already begun on the field. Work on the bleachers is in motion; with the lighting and press box upgrades coming quickly. So now is the time to get involved at the H and show your love for Dear Old High School.
