Professional productions that present kathak at the highest level with world class artists, quality venue, lighting design, technical support, professional marketing and publicity cost $60-$70K to produce and are only possible with your support.

A gift of $100 supports the next generation of artists, supporting their training, creative process, and participation in bringing this and other works to life. Whether you give $50, $75, $100, or more, every dollar moves us closer to the finish line.

Sustain Legacy With Fellowships

The Kathak Fellowship (supporting next generation dancers) and Kathak Teaching Fellowship (supporting next generation teachers) are critical to preserving the legacy of Pandit Chitresh Das. The following dancers have already been supported by the Kathak Fellowship: Mayuka Sarukkai, Vanita Mundhra, Shruti Pai, Kritika Sharma, Ishani Basak, Srija Bhattacharya, Grishma Shukla, Ishq Pradhan.

Our 2026 School Show will bring back the beautiful production "Jamuna Ke Tat Par..." exploring India's sacred rivers and how to protect them through beautiful and powerful kathak dance, live music, and original art work by Alka Raghuram.
