At Brookline Teen Outreach (BTO), we’ve believed in the power of young people—and the importance of supporting them—since opening our doors in 2015. What started as a small community effort has grown into a vibrant, trusted resource for youth across Pittsburgh’s South Hills. Our mission is simple but powerful: to provide free, high-quality programs, resources, and counseling for youth ages 10–18, so every teen has a safe place to belong, grow, and thrive.

Over the years, BTO has welcomed thousands of teens through our doors. We’ve:

Provided over 15,000 hours of free after-school programming.
Offered individual and group counseling at no cost to families.
Guided teens through life skills training, academic support, arts programs, and community service projects that help them build confidence and purpose.
Created a space where young people can develop friendships, discover talents, and find adults they can trust.

For some teens, we’re a second home. For others, we’re the difference between giving up and believing in themselves again.
