Christina Oyola's Story
Hi, I’m Christina Oyola — and I’m fundraising to bring safe spaces to unexpected places.
For most of my life, I carried heavy stories — stories shaped by trauma, silence, and survival. But I also carried something else: a deep-rooted dream to create spaces where people like me could be seen, heard, and safe.
That dream grew into something real: That Day Collective — a mission-driven organization focused on trauma-informed care, community healing, and helping dreamers turn their ideas into impact.
This fall, I’m launching trauma workshops designed to meet people exactly where they are — emotionally, mentally, and even physically. Whether that’s in a corner café, a market booth, or a community room, I believe healing doesn’t always need to look like a therapy office. Sometimes, it’s a moment of connection, a resource shared, or simply a safe seat at the table.
I’m also working hard to guide and support first-time dreamers — small creators, future founders, and community builders — and help them enter the market with confidence, education, and support. Because your story matters. Your ideas matter. And you don’t have to do it alone.
I’m fundraising today to make all of this possible — to cover materials, outreach, marketing, space, and the support systems that make real healing and real change accessible.
If you believe in the power of story, of safe space, and of second chances — I hope you’ll stand with me. Your donation, your share, your encouragement — it all matters.
Let’s create That Day together — the one where everything changed.
With gratitude,
Christina Oyola
