We have had a remarkably busy and fulfilling year at AV Camp—filled with new and growing programs, major facility improvements, and the blessing of new staff members. We are deeply grateful to God for His abundant blessings, and to you for your prayers and support, which allow us to continue our mission of nurturing faith in Jesus Christ through Orthodox Christian community living, worship, education, fellowship, and love.

This past year, AV Camp welcomed more than 2,300 people, running 14 programs and hosting 13 guest groups.
Program Highlights:
• Summer Camp, Family Camp, Winter Camp, and AV Open all completely filled.
• Record attendance at Winter Family Camp, Adult Camp, Arch Week, and Fort Ligonier Days.
• Launched our first Homecoming Weekend to welcome back alumni.

Facilities & Improvements:
• Fully renovated The Gathering Place, creating Yazge’s Place (sensory room) and Nasser’s Corner (alumni room).
• Renovated the Health Center.
• Remodeled Arts & Crafts and Cabin 48.
• Replaced all wooden bunks with bed-bug-resistant metal bunks.
• Demolished Chalet 2 (memory eternal).
• Continued our monthly newsletter, The Gathering Place.

Staffing & Additional Milestones:
• Welcomed three new full-time staff members:
– Nick Dujmovic, Director of Operations
– Jessica AbuGhazaleh, Director of Communications
– Michael Salem, Program Director
• Grew the AV Camp Endowment to over $800,000, supporting camper scholarships and capital improvements.
• Participated in professional development and training conferences.
• Successfully passed our ACA (American Camping Association) accreditation visit, ensuring we meet the highest standards of program quality and safety.

Above all, we remain focused on fostering an environment where we can nurture our faith in Jesus Christ.
