Rally for a Cause: More Than a Day of Cars

Aviators for Autism was built around a simple belief: aviation can be more than transportation. It can create confidence, opportunity, independence, education, employment pathways, and experiences that many individuals and families never imagined were possible.

Our mission is to expose, educate, and empower the autism and neurodiverse communities and their families through aviation.

That means creating opportunities for individuals and families to experience airports before the day they need to travel, learn how the aviation system works, participate in hands-on aviation programs, explore potential careers, and feel welcomed into an industry that has the ability to open an entirely new world of possibilities.

For many families in the autism community, something as routine as walking into an airport can be overwhelming. The lights, crowds, announcements, security screening, unfamiliar environments, and uncertainty of what comes next can turn what should be an exciting experience into an enormous challenge.

We work to change that.

Through airport familiarization experiences, aviation education, community events, partnerships, sensory initiatives, career exposure, and direct engagement with families, Aviators for Autism creates environments where individuals can experience aviation at their own pace while building familiarity, confidence, and connection.

Why Rally for a Cause?

On September 27, 2026, we are bringing another community together to support that mission.

The inaugural Aviators for Autism Rally for a Cause will bring together approximately 60 supercars, drivers, businesses, aviation professionals, automotive enthusiasts, families, and supporters for a rally across Long Island followed by a community event at Pickleball Haven in Medford.

The rally begins at Rally Point East in Westhampton and brings an incredible group of vehicles and people together around something much bigger than the cars themselves. Rally will overlap at Rally Point East weekly Sunday Cars & Coffee. Where dozens of cars meet weekly to show off their rides, and enjoy coffee & pastries. Proceeds from the sales from the Coffee shop will benefit Aviators for Autism.

Exotic Cars. One Mission.

At the finish, attendees will come together for an afternoon built around community, including the Winner's Circle, pickleball, cornhole, raffles, family activities, food and special experiences.

But behind everything happening that day is the reason we are gathering in the first place.

The autism and neurodiverse community deserves access to experiences, education and opportunities that are designed with them in mind.
