Celebrating Those Who Serve Our Community

Partnership for a Drug-Free Community invites you to our Annual Outstanding Public Safety & Educators Awards Ceremony on October 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. at Embassy Suites Huntsville.

This special event recognizes local law enforcement officers, first responders, judicial professionals, educators, and community partners whose leadership, courage, compassion, and service make North Alabama safer, healthier, and stronger.

Guests will enjoy a catered lunch followed by an awards ceremony honoring individuals who have gone above and beyond to positively impact public safety, education, prevention, recovery, and the well-being of our community.

Our goal is to make this formal catered banquet free for attendees. Sponsorships help cover the banquet, venue, awards, and event expenses so our community can come together to celebrate these deserving honorees.

Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer Award – Recognizes exceptional leadership, integrity, public safety, and community partnership.

Bill Clardy III Memorial Award for Excellence in Narcotics Investigations – Honors investigative excellence in combating illegal narcotics while carrying forward Bill Clardy III's legacy of courage, perseverance, and service.

Daniel Golden Memorial Award – Honors compassion, selflessness, servant leadership, and a commitment to helping others and inspiring hope.

Outstanding First Responder Award – HEMSI – Recognizes exceptional professionalism, compassion, and commitment to lifesaving emergency care.

Champion of Hope Award – Firefighter – Honors courage, compassion, leadership, and service that protect lives and strengthen the community.

Juvenile Justice Award – Recognizes advocacy and leadership that guide youth toward rehabilitation, positive change, and long-term success.

Prosecutor Award – Honors excellence, integrity, and compassion in pursuing justice and advancing public safety.

Outstanding Judicial Advocate Award – Recognizes judicial leadership and commitment to fairness, accountability, treatment, recovery, and collaborative justice.

Recovery Ally Award – Honors exceptional advocacy and support that strengthen recovery, reduce stigma, and expand access to resources.

Gayle Owen Memorial Award of Excellence – Honors an educator or educational leader whose dedication, compassion, and service reflect Gayle Owen's legacy of excellence in education.

Excellence in Education Award – Recognizes educational leadership that promotes prevention, mental wellness, resilience, and healthy decision-making.

Deborah Soule Spirit of Partnership Award – Honors exceptional collaboration, advocacy, and service that bring people and organizations together to strengthen the community.
