Ready to Rise Workforce Pathway helps underserved Black youth and justice impacted adults prepare for employment, secure quality jobs, and build the habits that support long-term stability. We focus on what matters most right now, job readiness, placement support, and retention after hire, because getting hired is only the first step.

This program exists because talent is everywhere, but access, coaching, and opportunity are not. Ready to Rise bridges that gap with a structured, supportive pathway that includes:

Job readiness training (resume building, applications, interview prep, workplace communication, and professional expectations)
Employer-aligned preparation so participants understand real hiring standards and what success looks like on the job
Ongoing retention support with coaching and check-ins at 30, 60, and 90 days after hire
Financial literacy habits that help participants build stability, reduce financial stress, and plan ahead

At B3I, we recognize that not every participant will have an entrepreneurial ambition, or they may not be able to start a business right away, so Ready to Rise provides a practical pathway to employment, paired with financial literacy habits that help participants save, plan, and prepare for future ownership when the time is right.
