Hi! My name is Monica Drzewicki and I am a third year Biking for Babies missionary.

I began my journey with B4B in 2023 after the tragic loss of a loved one. Not knowing it at the time, the love and support I received from my team helped heal my heart. Leaving the National Ride after my first year, I was exhausted & overwhelmed. It was the hardest thing I had ever done. However, I immediately knew I would do it again. 

Biking for Babies attracted me originally as a source of distraction to deal with my grief. But the more I got involved, the more I realized B4B was a part of my story. I found myself reflecting on my childhood and identifying God’s presence at every stage. My childhood was quite traumatic and heavy, but, I realized there were so many small moments where God loved me through others. He revealed himself by the family & friends that made my life easier. And the more I thought about it, I realized that is our job as missionaries. We are sent forth to love everyone and allow the Lord to work through us. We have a beautiful platform where we can show how love can change the world. 

This year, I am so excited to be a team leader! I have learned so much from my past two years about the impact of a good leader. There were many times during my first National Ride where I wanted to quit. If it had not been for the leadership of my team, I would have given up on myself. I want to be that role model for my team this year. I am eager to love them & embark on this spiritual journey together. We have so much to learn from one another!
