Hi, I’m Megan Sardegna! I am a Junior at Oklahoma State University and am majoring in Animal Science with a certificate in Equine Enterprise Management. This is my 3rd year with Biking for Babies and I am SO pumped to be biking again for them! Biking for Babies is an amazing nonprofit organization that spreads the culture of life. The mission is  proclaiming the dignity of every human life by uniting cycling and the formation of young adults into missionaries of Jesus Christ! For the past 16 years, young adults have set aside one week in July to ride 600 miles in 6 days to renew the culture of life!

Last year I experienced joyful suffering, the unification of my suffering to the Cross and to pregnant mothers, strangers becoming family, and witnessed how much our culture needs life! I loved it so much I decided to come back! This year I will be riding the 600 miles from Omaha, Nebraska, to St. Louis, Missouri! Through redemptive suffering I believe that our culture will come to see the fullness, beauty, and dignity of every human being from conception to natural death. Most importantly I pray that we will come to know our identity as children of God.

On top of cycling 600 miles in 6 days, each missionary fundraises for the mission of Biking for Babies and to help support pregnancy resource centers. These centers provide care for mothers in crisis pregnancies, across the United States. Through missionary formation, bringing awareness to pregnancy resource centers, and raising funds for them, Biking for Babies is renewing the culture of life.
