My name is Gabe Ware. I was born and raised in IL, currently the oldest of 7, and I want to share an opportunity that is very close to my heart. This summer, I am honored to be part of a missionary organization called Biking for Babies.
In June, I, along with other missionaries, will take part in a 600-mile bike ride for a special cause. We’ll be riding long hours each day, pushing our bodies to the limit, not for medals, trophies, or personal achievement, but to support women and families facing some of the most challenging moments of their lives. My personal task in this mammoth of a ride is support crew, in which I will be caring for riders, supplying them with water, food, care, and encouraging support.
However, Biking for Babies is more than just an event; it’s a mission. Our goal is to raise awareness and funds for pregnancy resource centers, places where women facing pregnancies can find real help, real hope, and real options. These centers offer medical care, counseling, baby supplies, education, and above all, a love for life. Every mile we travel is for a mother who feels scared and alone. Every mile is for a baby whose life hangs in the balance. Every mile is for a family that needs someone to stand beside them and say, "You are not alone."
Each missionary involved is responsible for setting a personal fundraising goal. Mine is $6,000. That may sound like a lot, and it is, but when you think about what that money provides; an ultrasound that lets a mother hear her baby’s heartbeat for the first time, diapers for a newborn, parenting classes for young parents, it’s easy to see that even a small gift can make a life-changing impact.
I’m asking you today: Would you consider partnering with me? Your gift supports our mission to renew the culture of life by forming young adult missionaries and raising awareness and funds for pregnancy resource centers that support pregnant women across the country. Would you consider giving to help mothers choose life? When you give, you are helping to change someone’s world. You are helping to change the story for a mother and her child. And who knows? That life saved today could go on to change the world tomorrow.
Thank you so much for your time, for considering a gift, and for praying for us. God bless you all.
