Hi, my name is Josh Fitzgerald and I'll be biking from Green Bay Wisconsin to St. Louis Missouri in one week this July...... for babies!
I've joined Biking for Babies because it's an opportunity to use my love of cycling to advocate for life and support the Pregnancy Resource Centers helping women choose life. This means a lot to me since I have some close friends who came from unplanned pregnancies and I can't imagine a world without them. Welcoming my friends was hard for their families, but they did it. I want to help others do the same.
Biking for Babies offers an opportunity for the team to visit and learn from pregnancy resource centers throughout the country. We'll be able to meet the staff at the centers and the families they serve. We'll see first hand the good and joy that comes when women have the support they need to choose life! This year, I'll be partnering with TLC Pregnancy Services. They have offices in Elgin, Palatine, and Schaumburg, IL as well as a mobile clinic that provide professional medical care, counseling services, cloths, food, shoes, diapers, maternity vitamins, and other necessities from pregnancy through 5 years after birth.
Thank you for reading through my page. My question is, would you be willing to help support these women through donating to the the mission of Biking for Babies?
Every financial contribution to this mission makes an incredible impact in renewing the culture of life. Thank you in advance for your generosity. Together we can help women courageously choose life!
6/22 UPDATE:
It's only two weeks away from the national ride and things have been going really well! I've been working hard with my training and am well prepared physically. In addition to that, I had the opportunity to ride with some other B4B missionaries at a training weekend near Milwaukee, then another one in Green Bay, and an informal century ride for the "Chicago branch" of team WI. We faced some adverse weather and mechanical issues both weekends, which was a great opportunity to use my mechanic skills to serve my fellow missionaries. It was great to get a taste of the national ride beforehand and experience what is to come.
As far as fundraising goes, I couldn't be more grateful for the support I've received thus far. Thanks to the generosity of my mission partners, I met my initial goal well before the deadline...... but I'm not done yet! Team WI still has some work to do for our team goal. Let's finish strong!
