The Beer and Wine Stroll is the Atlanta area’s only fundraiser for Veterans On The River.

This annual event supports the current year’s cohort of Veterans, allowing them to participate in our program at no cost. Our programming is two-fold. In the mornings, Veterans receive hands-on instruction and training to become certified white‑water guides—a pursuit that demands focus, discipline, and safety, whether as a hobby or a profession. In the afternoons, participants engage in a structured curriculum focused on soft‑skill development and corporate readiness, helping them translate military strengths into civilian success—whether pursuing a new career or navigating life beyond the uniform.

The average cost per Veteran is $3,700, so every ticket purchased and every donation made has a meaningful impact. The more we raise, the more Veterans we can serve—and the more lives we can change.
