You guys are amazing!

Honestly, last week's response to the Pokrovsk incursion was amazing and we want you to know just how much it means to us that you care.

The Pokrovsk front seems to have stabilized, but that whole area is still getting beat up. UFL is prioritizing the requests and working hard to fill what we can as quickly as possible.

Our weekly update:

Another batch of tourniquets reached their units; the 128th sends their thanks.

And the 82nd got a portable laptop screen. I know it doesn't look like much, but they will be getting a huge shipment shortly.

$2 TACO Tuesday

It would be really nice to retire the TACO moniker, but we have had no luck so far.

However, the winner of this week's $2 raffle will get some gorgeous bead work.

UFL_Robin here, briefly taking over for Scott: I want it in the record that both he and Arcaist thought the necklace was a wall hanging, bless their hearts. That's why I'm writing this bit.

There are three stunning pieces of beadwork here: a beaded tote bag, and a matching bracelet and necklace set. The necklace is a traditional gerdan.

Now I return you to Scott.

The gerdan, bracelet, and tote bag are all covered with delicate beads. UFL_Robin told Arcaist and me that they used sorcery to attach them, and we believe her! The t-shirt was actually donated to raffle by a loyal UFL supporter (and friend); I thought that it was a fitting piece, considering the events earlier this week.

$5 34th pack

Arcaist pulled out another awesome themed package from the 34th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade based in Kherson.

Their flag, unit patch, and calendar feature their crest, and I think I speak for us all when I say that the "z boot" patch" is something we all want to happen soon.

In closing:

I visited my friend in Kharkiv, and she had a very interesting point that I wanted to share with you all.

She said that she doesn't like to use words like "orks", "Mordor", or any other word in place of "russian".

The world needs to know who started this war - russia.
The world needs to remember who committed the countless atrocities - russia.
russia must be accountable for every murdered Ukrainian, every kidnapped Ukrainian child, every destroyed Ukrainian building and every crippled Ukrainian defender.

russia and their evil must not be hidden behind masking words.

I took this photo as my friend was driving me to meet her family. On Monday, 18 August 2025, not far from this place, that same friend informed me that russia murdered 7 people, including an 18-month old baby.

Never let "russia" lose the ignominy that their actions have brought on themselves.
