Come learn or expand on your parenting tricks and try out multiple types of carriers to learn a practical way to connect with your littles in a busy parent’s life. Learn about babies' physical development in the first years, and gain confidence in a practical way to connect with your babies and toddlers in a busy parent’s life.

This workshop will be facilitated by certified Babywearing educators. Our time will be broken into multiple parts. We will focus on the basics of Babywearing, including carrier types, safety tips, and general care instructions. We will then try on carriers and get a proper fit. This workshop is great for first, second or third time parents and anyone who wants to better understand wearing infants through toddlers. There is no pressure or expectation to bring your own baby or carrier with you.

Our extensive babywearing library of carriers will also be on site for trying on and seeing the different options available. Caregivers are welcome to bring their own carriers, but this is never a requirement. All carriers used for teaching and demonstrating are coming from smoking free homes and we do have specialized dolls for practice carrying too. Come as you are, with or without your baby. We are excited to teach and learn with you.

We will also leave time for 1:1 consultations and troubleshooting if you have a specific question for any of our leaders.

Ticket cost is kept low to make this information accessible. We encourage a sliding scale access to the workshops knowing the value of the admission is $60 (individual or couple). We want to maintain accessible and professional support. The income for Connected Nest supports our accessible ticketing, our weekly new moms support groups, and program growth.
