Right now, between our 300 Heroes and Healing Hearts programs, we have 46 children who are experiencing the absence of a parent or welcoming home a mom or dad that was gone for a little too long ❤️‍🩹

These children come from families navigating deep and complex realities.

In Healing Hearts, we’re walking alongside parents who are returning home from prison, committed to doing the hard work of rebuilding their lives and their relationships with their children, one step at a time. These dads and moms aren’t financially stable yet, juggling probation stipulations & doing their best as parents to provide.

In 300 Heroes, we’re supporting caregivers, many of them single parents or grandparents—who’ve become the backbone of their families, holding it all together while helping children understand, grieve, and grow through the impact of incarceration. Household income drops 22% when a parent is incarcerated .

These aren’t one-time programs. What we offer is ongoing. It’s intentional. It’s rooted in effort, accountability, and healing ⭐️🙏

This is what restorative justice really looks like, daily, family-centered work that breaks cycles of intergenerational trauma and incarceration.

And we don’t do it alone. It takes a community of donors, volunteers, and advocates who believe in second chances, who believe in families, and who believe in the power of healing. This is why we’re asking for your support in providing Walmart gift cards to these families.

As we prepare for the new school year, we know that Back-to-School 📚 needs look different for every family. It might back undergarments, hygiene products or clothing.

These gift cards give our parents and caregivers the dignity of choice, to shop for what their children truly need, and to do it with pride.
