Every child deserves to start the school year with confidence, excitement, and the tools they need to succeed. That's why the Jay Mack Community Foundation is proud to host the 5th Annual Back to School Community Bash on August 22, 2026, at LeBauer Park in Greensboro, North Carolina.

This free community event brings together students, families, nonprofits, businesses, and community leaders to provide essential school supplies, educational resources, and family support services in a fun and engaging environment.

Our goal is simple: remove barriers to educational readiness and ensure local students begin the school year equipped for success.

But we can't do it alone.

Your support helps us provide backpacks, school supplies, free haircuts, family resources, youth activities, giveaways, and community services that make a lasting impact on children and families throughout our community.

Why This Matters

Many families face financial challenges when preparing for a new school year. The cost of backpacks, notebooks, pencils, calculators, and other school essentials can create additional stress for households already working hard to make ends meet.
