This summer, Jefferson Park Ministries and Kilti Lakay are coming together to host our annual Back to School Fair on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, dedicated to ensuring local students and families have the tools they need to begin the school year prepared, confident, and ready to thrive.
Many families in our community face financial barriers when purchasing essential school supplies, backpacks, and educational materials. Through this community-driven event, we will provide students with backpacks, notebooks, pencils, folders, educational resources, health and wellness information, and connections to local organizations and services that support children and families throughout the year.
Our goal is to serve hundreds of students across Union County and surrounding communities while creating a fun, welcoming environment that celebrates education, community, and opportunity.
Your contribution can make an immediate impact:
📚 $25 helps provide school supplies for one student.
🎒 $50 helps purchase a backpack filled with essential supplies.
✏️ $100 supports school supplies for multiple students and families.
🏫 $250 helps sponsor educational activities and community resources at the fair.
🌟 $500+ helps expand our reach and serve even more students in need.
In addition to monetary donations, we welcome in-kind contributions of backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, folders, calculators, hygiene items, and other school essentials.
Together, we can remove barriers to learning and ensure every child starts the school year with dignity, confidence, and the resources needed to succeed.
