Triangle Barkitecture is a one-of-a-kind design competition and community celebration where creativity meets compassion. Each year, architects, designers, engineers, and makers from across the Triangle come together to craft custom-built pet architecture—fun, functional, and always original—all to raise money for local animal rescues and foster-based organizations.

Since launching in 2019, Barkitecture has grown from a small grassroots idea into one of the Triangle’s most beloved nonprofit events, raising over $150,000 (and counting!) to help pets find loving homes. Every build you see today will be auctioned off, with 100% of proceeds going directly to support our rescue partners and the animals in their care.
