A pediatric medical crisis is a financial crisis too. More than half our families already live below the poverty line. When a child with complex medical care needs is hospitalized for weeks or months, a parent often stops working. Travel, parking and meals away from home drain the budget fast. The bills at home keep arriving.

Over the past couple of years, Big Beautiful Life quietly piloted the Pediatric Complex Medical Care (CMC) Housing & Stability Fund with whatever operating dollars we could spare. It worked. Families kept their homes and their power on, and came home to a refrigerator with food in it. Now we're making it a formal program, and we're asking our village to fund it.

Peter is one of the kids behind that pilot. During a long stretch of his care, BBL covered a utility bill so his family could keep their focus where it belonged: on Peter.

Our ramp program was started in honor of Mason. When Mason needed a ramp, BBL didn't yet have a way to provide one. We are building this program so the next family doesn't have to wait.

Your gift supports three things:

Housing & utility stability: help with rent/mortgage and power during long-term hospitalizations.
Food security: groceries for families whose budgets are spent on medical travel and care.
Home & community access: the things discharge immediately requires that insurance won't cover, such as ramps, portable power stations for medical equipment, and help with specialized van payments.
