The Burlington County Library System Foundation has launched a new fundraising campaign, and of course there's a special book theme to it!

Perhaps you remember the "Choose Your Own Adventure" books that gave you, the reader, the chance to choose how the story unfolded depending on which option you selected. Sound familiar?

Well, you can now "Choose Your Own Donation Adventure" by supporting our beloved library system in multiple different ways. Which path will YOU choose to take?

Path 1: Technology for All

This program aims to close the technology, connectivity and skills gap and supports the library’s Learning Labs program. Funds raised will provide tools to support students, build a better workforce and expand individual capabilities.

Technology & Tools Library
- Funding goal: $10,000
- From podcasting kits, sewing supplies to web cameras and video editing tools, our Learning Labs programs ensure library customers have access to tools that enable creative expression and build tech skills.

Path 2: Literacy & Learning

This program supports the library's efforts to promote literacy and learning via activities and resources as well as by creating awareness of the importance of reading for both recreational purposes and knowledge attainment.

Learning Packs
- Funding goal: $3,000
- Learning kits are available to borrow and take home or use at our libraries. These kits are designed for hands-on learning to reinforce basic skills such as reading comprehension, math literacy as well as subject-based proficiencies. Each pack contains a range of resources such as vocabulary cards, math manipulatives, as well as thematic books.

Path 3: Meeting Special Needs

This program supports the library's efforts to include and reach those with special abilities and disabilities. From creating unique spaces in our libraries to hosting special programs such as the Special Needs Enrichment Hour our efforts make a lasting impact in a safe supportive environment.

Program Supplies and Sensory Space
- Funding Goal: $5,000
- Purchasing craft supplies means we can engage special needs children and adults in meaningful activities. Larger donations will be used to create supportive spaces that calm as well as engage through gentle stimulation and regulation.

Path 4: Direct My Donation Where Needed

By providing an unrestricted gift, you will enable the Foundation to support BCLS in other ways throughout the year. The BCLS Foundation is run by a volunteer Board, and so all contributions go directly to helping the library succeed.

Overall Support
- Funding Goal: $12,000
- Your gift will enable the Foundation to sponsor events such as cultural shows, host children’s programs, or invest in furnishings or gathering spaces.
