Story
The third wave of COVID-19 has been the deadliest in Bangladesh so far, with over 1 million confirmed cases. Vaccine apartheid and stalled delivery of medical equipment have raised alarm on a public health front. Moreover, due to the lockdown imposed earlier this month, many families have no means to put food on the table. For many, despite the grave implications of the pandemic, hunger is the most urgent problem. Community Town Federation (CTF) is a grassroots organization maintaining a database of families in need, who distribute dry food packets and other resources across the country. All of the money raised in this campaign will be transferred directly to CTF organizers on the ground, based in Dhaka.
