Be Inclusive, All Year Long

Help Keep Be Inclusive Going All Year Long!

Our work happens year-round—bringing diverse books into schools, celebrating cultures, creating meaningful conversations, and building connections throughout our communities.

You can help make that work possible with a recurring gift of $10 or more per month, $25 or more per quarter, or an annual gift of $100 or more. Your support provides Be Inclusive with reliable funding to sustain our programs and plan for what’s ahead.

And as a thank-you, you’ll receive a FREE Be Inclusive car magnet to show your support wherever you go! 🚗💛

Representation Matters!

Be Inclusive is a Black woman-led program that creates inclusive communities by lifting the voices of typically underrepresented and marginalized communities while recognizing diverse cultures and intersectional experiences. We support healthy racial identity development and ongoing anti-racist learning through education, community events, programming, and resources.

We aim to support community members by creating a more welcoming, safe, and inclusive community. Programs include the delivery and increased visibility of multicultural books in schools and libraries and community cultural events.

Sharing Our Successes

The Multicultural Books Initiative (MBI) Program: We've worked closely with Walpole Public Elementary Schools' administration and staff to donate 5-7 books each month that highlight diverse authors and illustrators with characters, voices, and experiences from underrepresented communities. These donations serve 290 teachers, 213 staff, and 1747 students across Walpole's elementary schools and Daniel Feeney Preschool.

The Inclusive Community Events Program: Be Inclusive plans and hosts several annual events such as Juneteenth, Diwali, Holi, and Pride. We are always looking to expand our community events and welcome suggestions from our community!
