In the country's least food-secure state, 1 in 4 children doesn't know where their next meal is coming from. 15.1% of all Nevada households face food insecurity. Grocery prices are up 29% since March 2020. And a quiet crisis sits underneath all of it: the pollinators that move pollen between the plants that feed us are disappearing.

Bee The Difference is a civic storytelling platform that follows the straight line from pollinator health to a food-secure Nevada. It points readers to the people already doing the work.

We don't run programs ourselves. We map them. We document them. We send readers to the right organization for the right action: whether that's volunteering with Soulful Seeds, donating to Three Square, planting native species through Bee Friendly Reno, or testifying at the next State Capitol hearing on water rights.

We're independent. Nonpartisan. Hope-forward. And the work is already underway. Across Nevada, organizations are restoring pollinator habitat, growing food at scale, building education programs, advocating for policy, and feeding hungry families. They need readers who understand why this work matters and donors who can help them keep going.
