On behalf of the Give Better Fund, we'd first and foremost like to thank every single contributor for your donations! We raised ~$8,400 for our fellow colleagues.
Behind the scenes, we've been working on collecting data from our colleagues who requested help, including their preferred method of payment for the payout.
We are happy to announce that we have finally reached a point where we are able to begin the disbursement process! Today we requested the $8,400 to be released to us from Give Butter (they hold it until we're ready to disperse, this is a normal part of the process) which can take anywhere from 2-4 business days to become available.
Once we have received the funds, we are planning to disperse the funds evenly between every person who requested assistance AND provided payment information! 😊
