Most rescues get high off the save. They celebrate the freedom walk and go crazy over the freedom ride. But not us, because we know that's when the real work begins...and the Cane Corso takes a lot of work.

Cane Corso have exploded in popularity. Now they're lining the walls of shelters, being euthanized at record rates, dumped in the deserts...

Unless we show up.

Cane Corso don't like strangers, so that means they dont just come wiggling out of these situations into our arms. Most the time, they've never been properly socialized or trained so it adds a whole new layer to the rescue situation.

When we get these guys, they're usually shut down, terrified, defensive, and sometimes even dangerous. It can take weeks or months of dedicated work and decompression just to get them to trust us, let alone get them to safely see the vet.

And that's just the beginning.

Professional training costs thousands of dollars per dog, per month. Feeding the dogs in our care costs thousands every week. Cleaning, maintaining our facilities, and paying staff experienced with this breed are enormous expenses. Even spaying and neutering a Cane Corso costs hundreds more than other breeds, even at low-cost clinics.

So many people have given up on these dogs. But not us.

We've saved thousands of Cane Corso. We show up for them every single day, and we'll keep showing up for them as long as our community shows up for us.

The work doesn't stop when there's no dramatic rescue story to share. Neither do the expenses.

We need your support every day of the week to keep this rescue running, because these dogs need us every single day.

We've dedicated our lives to saving these dogs. Together, we can be the change the Cane Corso needs.
