Education is one of the most powerful tools we have to build safer, healthier, and more resilient communities. Our nonprofit is a collective of volunteer educators rooted in and accountable to our community. We believe education is a human right. Right now, access to education in our North Minneapolis neighborhood is under threat.

Our community is living in fear, hiding, and uncertainty. Many of the families and individuals we serve are navigating food insecurity, housing instability, and other urgent needs. Focus has shifted from school work and dreams to safety plans and emergency contacts. When basic needs go unmet, education becomes harder to access and sustain.

That’s why we’re launching this mutual aid fund.

Grocery and meal support
Rent or utility emergency support
Technology access (internet hotspots, devices etc.)
School supplies and learning materials
Other urgent needs that impact our community
