The BFHS Student Travel Fund helps ensure that every student, regardless of financial need, has the chance to explore, learn, and grow beyond the walls of our school.

Each year, Franklin students are invited to participate in transformative educational travel experiences, including:
🎶 Band & Orchestra competitions across the country
🗣️ Speech & Debate tournaments that build confidence and advocacy skills
🏛️ Close Up Washington, D.C. trips that connect students to democracy in action
🌍 EF Educational Tours & GAPP exchanges that immerse students in global cultures
📚 Field trips & special programs that bring learning to life

But for too many students, these opportunities remain out of reach. With over 30% of our student body requiring financial assistance, the cost of travel can be a heartbreaking barrier. That’s where you come in.

It helps fund scholarships so that every student—regardless of income—can broaden their horizons, experience new cultures, compete at the highest levels, and gain the real-world knowledge that shapes their future. $50 helps with transportation costs
$100 covers meals for a student on a trip
$250 makes a deposit for an international learning experience
$500+ provides a full or partial scholarship for a deserving student
