Story
In Kern County the shelters are full, vets are scarce, politicians are turning a blind eye, and thousands of pets are breeding, suffering, and dying. We need to REDUCE the number of animals in Bakersfield, Kern County.
In order to do this, a highly experienced clinic coordinator and veterinarian, along with a vet staff team with a PROVEN model for LARGE-SCALE, LOW-COST SPAY, AND NEUTER have been recruited to open a BRAND NEW CLINIC IN BAKERSFIELD.
In this extremely under-resourced climate, finding a veterinarian and team of staff who are ready and willing to do the work required to run a low-cost clinic is HALF THE BATTLE and the other half, the cost.
... so let the fundraising begin!
Please donate and help animals in Bakersfield for generations to come
Clinic Tidbits:
The clinic would cover: 60+ surgeries/day = 12,000 SPAY & NEUTER SURGERIES per year
Open 4 days per week.
Approximately 79$ per surgery (some vets are charging $900 or more for a single spay/neuter)
Will include vaccines to keep animals in the community safe and healthy.
