Our Vision

A world where Black and Brown women don't have to fight for access to healing — where rest is normal, bodies are celebrated, and community is the medicine.

The Need

Black and Brown women face disproportionate levels of chronic stress, burnout, maternal health risks, and mental health challenges due to systemic inequities, cultural expectations, and limited access to culturally aligned wellness resources. We give endlessly. We push through. We survive. But surviving is not the same as thriving, and we deserve more than survival.

That’s why BGB Wellness exists. 🤎

BGB Wellness is a community built by and for Black women — a Village where healing is not a luxury but a birthright. We create spaces for rest, restoration, and radical self-love. We connect Black women to wellness resources, community events, certifications, and financial support that helps them reclaim their health, their joy, and their power.

Today, we’re asking our Village — members, allies, advocates, and friends — to help us go further.

The BGB Village Wellness Fund is a $75,000 fundraising drive that will directly fuel five pillars of healing for our community.

Here is what your gift makes possible:

🎁 Wellness Kits ($5,000): Curated self-care packages shipped directly to members who need a tangible reminder that they are seen, loved, and supported.

⚙️Operations ($10,000): Keeping our community infrastructure strong — the platforms, people, and systems that hold the Village together.

🎓Scholarships ($15,000): Funding wellness certifications, continuing education, and professional training so our members can build careers rooted in their healing.

💜Wellness Fund ($20,000): Direct financial support for members facing barriers to accessing mental health care, holistic healing, and medical services.

🎉Community Events ($25,000): Wellness retreats, healing circles, workshops, and pop-up events that bring our Village together in person and online.
