Kimcha D'Pischa - The Mitzvah

Every year, Kimcha D'Pischa calls on Am Yisrael to ensure that no Jewish family goes into Pesach without food. This is one of the most ancient and sacred obligations of our people — to look after those among us who cannot care for themselves. BeEzrat HaShem Inc. has a proven track record distributing millions of dollars to the poor over the years.

This year, the need has taken on a devastating new dimension. Iran's missiles have destroyed the homes of innocent Jewish families in Eretz Yisrael. Families who once had everything now have nothing. No roof, no table, no kitchen — and certainly no ability to prepare for Pesach.

BeEzrat HaShem Inc., with its proven track record of getting food directly into the hands of the poor in Israel, is mobilizing now. We have the ground network. We have the wholesaler relationships that stretch every dollar. We have the volunteers and the Rabbis. What we need is you.

Last Year We Combined Shas Program With Food Distribution. Over the past decade, BeEzrat HaShem Inc. has distributed millions of dollars in food and money to help over 300,000 Jews in Israel during Pesach and rest of the year.

Why This Year Is Different

The Shas Program cannot run — it is not possible to hold the single-day Shas event in Israel due to the ongoing war situation
The displaced families crisis is new — thousands of families who once were simply poor are now also homeless due to Iranian missile attacks
Double the need, double the merit — your donation this year does not just feed the chronically poor; it also helps people who were bombed out of their homes and have absolutely nothing
The mitzvah is amplified — feeding Aniyim (the poor) is always a great merit, but feeding displaced war victims who are also poor is among the greatest tzedakah one can do
