Hello, my name is Jack Woolf, I am from Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. Currently, I am a sophomore at Western Kentucky studying Forensic Psychology, History, and Criminology. I am currently a Student Ambassador for the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences, a member of the WKU TPUSA Chapter, and a part of the Chi Eta Mental Health Committee. I have been blessed to be selected as Bike4Alz Team 14 Team Operations Manager.
The first time I heard about Bike4Alz was the summer before my freshman year of college. Many of the riders on team 12 were friends of friends, who I have been made aware were biking from Coast to Coast. When I went through rush, Bike4Alz was always being talked about. Previous riders talked about how rewarding the experience was and the impact they got to make. From that moment, I knew I wanted to be a part of Bike4Alz and contribute as much as I can to this great cause. I can truly say that I am honored to be on Team 14, and can’t wait to see where this journey takes our team.
Bike4Alz and Team 14 are dedicated to raising awareness of Alzheimer’s Disease, while simultaneously raising money to go towards research for a cure with the goal of ending Alzheimer's. Team 14 will spend 75 days straight cycling from San Francisco Beach to Virginia Beach, spreading awareness along the way. Proceeds go towards the Sanders Brown Center for Aging as well as the Alzheimer’s Association. Please keep Team 14 in your prayers as we ride from coast to coast this summer.
