Hello! My name is Jagger Tomes, and I am a Sophomore at Western Kentucky University (WKU), majoring in photojournalism. I serve as one of three on the media team for Bike4Alz team 14. I am also a Spirit Master at WKU and am a media chair for my fraternity Phi Gamma Delta- Chi Eta. 

I had learned about Bike4Alz when I first joined the fraternity. I had a background in biking, and it sounded like something I would be overjoyed to be a part of. Getting past the biking aspect, learning about the real change that we could help be a part of drew me to it even more. To have a part in fighting for a cure to such a deadly illness is something I knew I wanted to do. 

I have family members who lost their lives to both Alzheimer's and other cognitive degenerative diseases. It’s something so devastating, having to watch it affect not only those with the disease but all the family involved. I want to be on a team and part of an organization that, as we move across the country, can connect with people who are suffering from both the disease and having to watch a family member lose themselves just as I did. I want to be a voice of comfort and ears to listen, helping fight for the first cure. #ENDALZ
