The BIPOC Community Garden was started as an effort to center Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) voices at our food forest in a tangible way by providing historically underserved BIPOC and BIPOC-led organizations with land, water, and other resources at the Beacon Food Forest. You are contributing to an effort to truly address racial inequity in our food system and address food sovereignty in the diverse neighborhood of Beacon Hill, which is made up of 65.3% BIPOC.

What we provide: we have two 25ft x 50ft land share plots available for BIPOC-led organizations, a BIPOC community garden with culturally relevant perennial and annual plants, and staff to facilitate work parties and workshops and provide access to water, tools, compost, plants, and woodchips and cardboard for sheet mulching
