MY BIRTHDAY INVITATION

Celebrating Life by Uplifting Life.

Every year on my birthday, I like to celebrate by creating an opportunity to give back.

At this stage and season of my life, I’m drawn less to celebrating with a big party or taking a trip, and more to celebrating by uplifting life itself.

There is something deeply meaningful about taking the gratitude I feel for another year around the sun and sharing it with those around me.

For me, the greatest celebration is about connection and sharing my gifts.

A few years ago, following the Maui fires, many people reached out asking how they could help. Rather than simply collecting donations, I created a sponsorship program that allowed 20 fire survivors to receive personalized healing sessions.

The response was extraordinary.

Watching everyone come together to support people they had never met reminded me of something I will never forget:

When people are given a meaningful way to help, generosity naturally follows.

The gratitude expressed by those who received care was overwhelming. It wasn’t only about the therapies. It was about knowing that someone cared enough to help.

That experience stayed with me.

This year, during my birthday month, I embarked on a personal 30-day journey of my NXTLVL program. Every morning, I asked myself one simple question:

What is my NXTLVL?

What began as a deeply personal journey gradually expanded into something much bigger.

The conversations evolved beyond my own growth and into the health of our relationships, our communities, and the living systems that support us all.

One realization continued returning again and again:

What if we made it easier for people to help one another?

Around that same time, I found myself walking alongside two elders in my own community.

Both are navigating significant health challenges.

I care deeply about helping people achieve optimal health and improving their quality of life.

Watching someone you care about struggle is a humbling experience.

You naturally begin asking yourself…

“Is there anything more I can do?”

For decades, I have dedicated my work to regenerative therapeutics and have researched supportive approaches including red light therapy, laser therapy, PEMF, IV nutrient therapy, ozone therapy, peptide protocols, targeted nutritional support, and movement-based therapies.

After carefully considering each of their situations, I created personalized NXTLVL wellness protocols designed to support their recovery and help improve their quality of life.

The challenge wasn’t knowing what could help.

The challenge was making those therapies accessible.

Many of these supportive therapies are not covered by traditional insurance and are simply beyond the financial reach of someone living on a fixed income.

That’s when everything came together.

Instead of wishing these therapies were available…

What if our community became part of making them available?

That simple question became the inspiration for the NXTLVL Community Health Sponsorship.

This project is beginning now with two elders.

But my hope is that it becomes something much greater.

A living model of community-supported wellness.

A way for people to participate directly in someone else’s healing journey.

Not because one person has to carry the entire responsibility…

but because many helping hands can accomplish extraordinary things.

Sometimes we’re in a position to give.

And sometimes we are in a position where we need to receive some extra care.

We’ve all been there or we know someone who has. The journey can feel very lonely, but it does not have to be.

Ultimately, healing is an inside job AND there’s so much we can do to support the process.

Whether someone contributes financially…

shares professional expertise…

offers resources…

makes an introduction…

or simply shares this project with others…

every contribution strengthens the whole.

One of the greatest lessons from my 30-day journey was this:

Healthy communities are built through participation.

Every one of us has something meaningful to contribute.

Some give resources.

Some give time.

Some give knowledge.

Some offer encouragement.

Some offer healing.

Every gift matters.

As part of my own birthday contribution, I will personally match every therapy sponsorship by providing additional therapies, services, and support whenever possible—doubling the impact of every sponsored session.

This is my gratitude gift to the project.

Together, we have the opportunity to help two wonderful elders receive therapies that would otherwise remain out of reach.

And perhaps even more importantly…

we have the opportunity to demonstrate what becomes possible when a community comes together with compassion, generosity, and a shared commitment to one another.

My hope is that this becomes the beginning of an ongoing NXTLVL Community Health Sponsorship Program that continues helping people long after my birthday has passed.

Because I truly believe this is the future.

A future where communities don’t simply wait for someone else to solve the problem.

A future where we recognize that every act of kindness matters.

A future where generosity becomes part of the culture.
