Our Story: Tournament of the Stars

For more than 32 years, Tournament of the Stars has brought people together with a shared purpose: to celebrate excellence, invest in education, and give back to our community.

What began as a vision to create opportunities for young people has grown into a longstanding community tradition that combines fellowship, entertainment, recognition, and philanthropy.

At the heart of Tournament of the Stars is our commitment to education and the next generation. Over the years, we have awarded more than $80,000 in scholarships to deserving students throughout Calcasieu Parish, helping young people take the next step toward college, careers, and brighter futures.

But Tournament of the Stars is about more than scholarships.

We believe it is equally important to recognize the people who make our communities stronger. Through our annual Sneaker Ball, we honor individuals who exemplify excellence in leadership, service, professional achievement, and community impact. Our honorees represent the very best of what it means to serve others and use their gifts to make a difference.

Our annual Golf Tournament and Sneaker Ball allow friends, businesses, community leaders, and supporters to come together, have a great time, and contribute to something much larger than an event.

The 2026 Sneaker Ball

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, we will gather at L’Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles for another unforgettable Tournament of the Stars Sneaker Ball.

It will be an evening of celebration, entertainment, fellowship, and purpose as we recognize our 2026 Tournament of the Stars Honorees and continue raising funds to support educational opportunities for deserving students.

Every ticket purchased, table reserved, sponsorship secured, and donation received helps us continue this important work.

When you support Tournament of the Stars, you are not simply supporting an event—you are investing in students, celebrating excellence, strengthening our community, and helping us continue a legacy that has lasted for more than three decades.

We invite you to become part of the Tournament of the Stars story.

Celebrate Excellence. Support Education. Invest in the Future.
