Help us bring free, fair-wage live music directly to our street!

Sustainable Music Northwest (SMNW) is partnering with our neighborhood to host an all-ages block party gathering. All events are 100% free to attend, family-friendly, and open to every neighbor.

HOW OUR MICRO-CROWDFUNDING WORKS:

We pool micro-donations to unlock live music for our block while ensuring local musicians are paid fair, union-scale living wages, W-2 statutory payroll taxes, and pension contributions:

• TIER 1 ($850 BASELINE): EVENT UNLOCKED!

Reaching $850 covers soloist/duo musician wages at union scale, W-2 employer payroll taxes, pension contributions, PA sound equipment, street/park permits, and event logistics.

• TIER 2 ($1,500 STRETCH GOAL): UNLOCKS 3–4 PIECE QUARTET

Crossing $1,500 expands our lineup to a full 3–4 piece rhythm section or soul quartet.

• TIER 3 ($2,000 STRETCH GOAL): UNLOCKS 5+ PIECE HEADLINER BAND

Crossing $2,000 unlocks a full 5+ piece headliner band for a premier neighborhood party atmosphere!

OUR ALL-OR-NOTHING GUARANTEE:

If our block does not reach the $850 Tier 1 baseline by our cutoff date, no event occurs and 100% of contributions are automatically refunded back to donors via Givebutter (or converted to a tax-deductible SMNW general donation per donor choice). Zero risk for neighbors!
