More than 70 Bloomington families are requesting housing assistance for February, with more reaching out each day. Donations will support the Bloomington Mutual Aid fund, helping families stay housed, fed, and supported without having to choose between safety and survival.

Thanks to a generous family, who is deeply rooted in the Twin Cities, gifts will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $50,000.

A note from the family:
We are the fulfilled dream of immigrants who moved here and built family with US citizens, giving us the beautiful life we have in Bloomington today. We believe that our well-being is linked to that of everyone around us, and we all benefit when everyone's needs are met. Join us in proclaiming through action that we are a better society when we honor the dignity and value of each person by protecting our neighbors' safety and homes. Any amount you can contribute, we will double, up to $50,000, as a meaningful reminder that this is a communal effort and every bit has an impact.

Every day, families in our community of Bloomington, MN are being forced to remain homebound as our area endures occupation by ICE. Parents are keeping themselves and their children inside to protect their safety, often at the cost of work, income, and access to basic necessities.

Bloomington is home to nearly 90,000 neighbors, and right now local families are reaching out every day asking for help. These are families who need urgent, practical support to get through a vulnerable time.

This is a fully volunteer-led mutual aid effort working in partnership with Oak Grove Presbyterian Church. There are no paid staff or overhead costs. Funds are used directly to meet real needs identified by families, schools, and community organizers.

Groceries and essential food items
Rent and housing stability
Transportation for medical and essential needs
Diapers, formula, and baby supplies
Basic household necessities
Urgent requests from local schools and community partners
Safety & coordination supplies for volunteer organizers meeting community needs
