Last year, 123 of our neighbors in Cleveland County had to leave home to be safe. Thirty-eight of them were children.

Hi, I'm Kate.

I grow cut flowers on my family's farm here in Cleveland County and sell them at the Kings Mountain farmers market on Saturdays.

The money goes to the Abuse Prevention Council.

APC runs the domestic violence shelter in our county. Feeding everybody who comes through that door costs about $5,000 a year. Divide that by fifty-two and it's $96 a week.

That's the whole goal of this campaign. Fifty-two weeks of groceries.

$50 covers 1/2 of one week
$100 covers one week
$300 covers three weeks
$750 covers almost two whole months
and $1,500 a full season, about three and a half months
