9:00 - 9:30PM - Light up the night with glow sticks, songs & fun with friends.

If you or your child want to swim, don’t forget to bring a suit, goggles and change of clothes if desired. Locker rooms will be available. We have lots of fun games and prizes for all participants. Additionally, a bartender will be on site. Any alcoholic beverages purchased will be credit card only. All nonalcoholic drinks are free!

The Autoinflammatory Alliance is a 501c3 nonprofit EIN 20-4915307 that is a leader in helping patients with autoinflammatory diseases to educate, empower and advocate for their needs. We also support research to help bring improved care and treatment for patients, and educational programs and materials at no cost to patients and medical professionals to help improve earlier diagnosis and proper treatment.

Highlights include: Funding the development of the Translational Autoinflammatory Research Network (TARN) that will improve collaboration and patient driven research and medication trial development for more treatments for autoinflammatory diseases. This will also include a registry, biobank, and more. The 2026 NIH Symposium for Autoinflammatory and Immunedysregulatory Diseases, and 3 research projects were supported, plus a working group to improve clinical trials for rare autoinflammatory diseases were supported by this fundraiser and others. Expert talks to train other doctors globally will be put online from the program soon. Thank you!

We are also developing a patient registry, and forming an autoinflammatory network of doctors with expertise that will collaborate with each other, and help other doctors that need expert help to have specialists to help them through our organization and a network of specialists, researchers and clinicians for autoinflammatory diseases. This will be hosted by our organization.

Our recent big projects that have been completed include supporting most of the costs and early management for the guidelines consensus expert recommendations , that were endorsed by the leading rheumatology societies in the world, ACR and EULAR.

Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH)/ Macrophage Activation Syndrome (MAS) related diseases

This started with the 2019 working groups and meetings at the NIH that included experts speaking for the "Autoinflammatory Bootcamp" training series to teach doctors about these diseases, that was a hybrid meeting to reach full capacity at the conference, and to hundred tuning in, and more since then watching the series on youtube.

In addition, we have led the International Society of Systemic Autoinflammatory Diseases (ISSAID) Patient Advocacy efforts and programs on a global level in 2010, 2019 and 2023 (recording here.)

We are always trying to find ways to help doctors to consider these rare diseases, and that has led to our medicallly edited comparative wall chart of systemic autoinflammatory diseases, that later became the searchable online database at autoinflammatory-search.org to cover the expanding number of these diseases, that can range in severity.

We work hard to help increase awareness about autoinflammatory diseases, and educate patients and medical professionals so they can better care for these rare diseases. Autoinflammatory diseases are lifelong conditions, that often start in infancy or early childhood.

Our goals for working with patients are to help them to connect with other patients, become informed about their disease and needs, and empower them to be able to advocate for the needs for care, and to their elected officials on issues.
