BEYOND THE HARD HAT's "Blueprint for Success" Back-to-School Fundraiser is turning 2!

Year Two. Bigger reach, deeper impact, same mission.

Last year, we launched our inaugural Blueprint for Success Back-to-School Fundraiser and the response from the community was nothing short of amazing. Families showed up. Local general contractors and trade specialty firms showed up. Our workforce development partners showed up. And together, we provided essential school supplies to local students who needed them most and all while planting the seeds of possibility in young people who had never considered a career in the trades.

2025 proved something we already believed: when you build the right table and invite the right people, the community will come. Now we're back, with more capacity, more partners, and a bigger ask because the need is bigger than last year!

Year one was the foundation. This year is the structure. And with any good build, what goes up next depends entirely on the resources we secure right now. That's where you come in!

This year, we are proud to partner with our friends at the City of East Point to present the 2nd Annual Blueprint for Success: Rock-the-Block Back-to-School Community Bash! This fundraiser is about community and goes beyond the traditional ideas of a school supply drive. We combine community resources with interactive skilled trades exposure for families. Students receive essential school supplies and parents have the opportunity to connect with our workforce development networks. We introduce the community (many for the first time) to the idea that a career in construction, carpentry, electrical or any skilled trade is a real possibility.

Join us for the Blueprint for Success: Rock-the-Block Back-to-School Community Bash on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from NOON to 3:00 PM at Bryan Park, located at 1468 Bryan Ave, East Point, GA 30344. This event brings our community together to support education, opportunity, and wellness. Your donation will help us provide:

Free bookbags filled with school supplies for students in need
Kid-friendly construction demos that spark creativity and interest in STEM education and skilled trades
Entertainment and event activities including bounce houses, face painting, a neighborhood volleyball game, and live music
Health & wellness screenings to support student and family well-being
Access to skilled job training programs and vital community resources for parents and young adults
