Friendsgiving at The Village Place

Help us bring warmth, joy, and abundance to our Village this holiday season

Every year, Black Mamas Village opens the doors of The Village Place for a special Friendsgiving, a celebration of connection, community, and care. It’s a day filled with laughter, music, and good food shared among mothers, families, and friends who remind us what belonging truly feels like.

But Friendsgiving is more than a meal, it’s a movement of collective care.
Your contribution helps us ensure that every mother, every child, and every family in our community can experience abundance and love during a season that can be hard for so many.

How You Can Help

Your support makes this community celebration possible, and every gift matters.

Make a Financial Contribution:
Your donation directly supports catering, decorations, children’s activities, and the costs of hosting a safe, beautiful celebration for families in our community.

$25 helps cover a meal for one family
$50 helps us provide kids’ activities and crafts
$100 helps us make the space beautiful and welcoming
$250 sponsors a full family table at Friendsgiving

Give In-Kind:
We’re also collecting items that make the day (and the season) special. You can donate:

New or gently used children’s books and games
Cozy blankets, throws, or self-care items for mamas
Gift cards for groceries, gas, or family meals
Disposable tableware and décor for the celebration

Why It Matters

Friendsgiving reflects who we are as a community — rooted in love, sustained by one another, and committed to making sure no one goes without connection or care.
When you give, you’re not just funding an event — you’re helping sustain a culture of belonging that extends far beyond one day.

Together, we can make sure every mother and family in our Village feels seen, celebrated, and supported this season.

Give today — and help us set a table where everyone belongs.
