At Montuna, I believe healing is carried through community and the passing of knowledge from one generation to the next. My work is devoted to preserving ancestral traditions of care—wisdom passed down by midwives, herbalists, healers, and elders.

That is why I feel so deeply connected to ReproTLC.

While Montuna helps preserve ancestral community knowledge, ReproTLC invests in the next generation of reproductive health professionals by training and supporting providers, midwives, abortion doulas, and community health workers. To me, these are part of the same lineage: one honors the wisdom of those who came before us; the other prepares those who will care for our communities in the future.

As both the founder of Montuna and a member of ReproTLC's Board of Directors, I believe we have a responsibility to protect what is sacred while creating opportunities for those who will carry this work forward.
