Body Empowerment Project is excited to announce its Fourth Annual Giving Campaign!

Body Empowerment Project (BEP) aims to reduce the risk of eating disorders among adolescents and promote positive mental health outcomes through evidence-based, preventative programming. Focused on serving marginalized youth in underserved communities, BEP empowers participants to build resilience, self-esteem, and advocacy skills while addressing systemic inequities that impact body image, mental health, and social determinants of health.

BEP 2024 Highlights

During the 2024, Body Empowerment Project had some notable accomplishments:

Empowered Over 1,000 Adolescents Total
Hired our second full-time employee, Program Manager Susan Robinson-Cloete
Were featured in 6 Podcasts and News Publications
Raised a Projected $110,000 in grants and sponsorships
Presented at 2 national conferences
Partnered with new 4 programming sites: Building 21, Puentes de Salud, Project Home, and Depaul Catholic School

Our college program expanded to 8 universities across the country. We also led several professional development trainings teachers, nurses, and medical students.
