Our Story - And How YOU Are a Part of It!

Each year, 'Student For A Night' brings our community together to step into the shoes of the students we serve and better understand the barriers many young people face on their path to graduation.

At Boosted Diplomas, we believe every student deserves consistent support, trusted adults in their corner, and the chance to graduate with confidence. Through free weekly tutoring, Educational Advocacy, and individualized support, we work alongside students navigating foster care, housing instability, financial hardship, and other circumstances that can make staying on track in school incredibly difficult.

Last year, we set an ambitious goal of raising $100,000, and our incredible community completely smashed through it by contributing nearly $180,000 to support Boosted Diplomas students. That generosity allowed us to expand our reach, strengthen our programming, and continue showing up consistently for more students across our community.

This year, we received an extraordinary contribution from the Wavedance Fund that will cover the staffing costs needed to operate our programming for the next two years. With that critical foundation in place, we are now asking our community to help us match the other half of what it takes to deliver these services directly to students.

Our goal is to raise $150,000 to fund the boots-on-the-ground support at the heart of Boosted Diplomas. These funds will go directly toward one-on-one tutoring and Educational Advocacy, ensuring students have someone consistently monitoring their progress, helping them overcome academic barriers, planning for graduation, and encouraging them along the way.

Student for a Night is more than a fundraiser. It is an opportunity to celebrate the resilience of our students, recognize the community that makes this work possible, and raise the funds needed to continue providing deeply personal, consistent support to the students who need us most.

Every ticket purchased, donation made, and sponsorship secured helps ensure more students have the tools, relationships, and support they need to stay engaged in school, reach graduation, and build what comes next.
