Faith N Friends is a 501(c)(3) non-profit horse rescue and sanctuary located in Corryton, TN, officially founded in 2016. But Faith—the founder—has been rescuing horses and other animals for far longer. She is the mother of two, foster mom to one, a primary family practitioner, a veterinary technician, an avid rider, a fierce advocate for all animals, and above all, a lifelong horse lover.

Over the years, Faith has worked tirelessly to help sick, injured, and abused animals. In her “spare time,” she owns and works at a local primary health clinic, Knoxville Medical Group, designed to serve the community. After seeing the distress many of her patients were experiencing, she decided to bridge the gap between horses and people—tackling mental health challenges and the stigma surrounding them while also supporting our special needs community.

This is where our motto was born: “Helping Horses Help People.”

Faith often says, “Faith N Friends teaches the community that through education, love, kindness, hard work, and acceptance, we can ALL recover from mental health challenges. We can ALL be contributing members of society.”

Every one of our horses used in community programs has been rehabbed. If they can do it, so can you.

Determined to make a difference and expand her impact, Faith founded Faith N Friends to address these needs on a larger scale and raise community awareness. We are forever grateful for her service and commitment to keeping horses safe, happy, and healthy while they wait for their forever homes.

Through community outreach, education, and hands-on programs, Faith N Friends strives to bring comfort, understanding, and healing to people of all ages and backgrounds as they interact with and learn from horses. We work to meet both equine and human needs by providing compassionate care, treatment, and training, and by thoughtfully matching loving owners with the right horse—all while supporting and educating horse owners and the broader community.

Our vision is a welcoming, family-centered environment that nurtures meaningful connections—leading to happy horses and healthier people.
